NSW: Federal Court orders NSW IRC to end its Tristar inquiry=3

Martin Schutz, of the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union (AMWU), said the Federal
Court decision was "a disappointment", but the fight for entitlements was not over.

He said the workers would take their case to the Australian Industrial Relations Commission
(AIRC) after they were today granted leave to appeal a decision to terminate the Tristar
workers' agreements.

"It's disappointing, but we did get a good decision in the (Australian) Industrial
Relations Commission," he said.

"We now have an avenue open to us in the AIRC to overturn the decision ... that initially
terminated the Tristar agreement and put the people, the Tristar workers, in this very
difficult situation."
