DUBLIN, Ohio -- Jim Scott, senior vice president of national markets at Cardinal Health, says that his nearly 20 years of experience in a variety of senior roles at the company have prepared him well for his current job--working with the company's largest national accounts.
Scott, who started his career as a commercial banker, counted Cardinal as one of his customers in the 1980s. He worked closely with Cardinal's leadership, including its founder, Robert Walter, to support the company's rapid growth and diversification. Walter eventually convinced Scott to leave the financial sector and bring his expertise to Cardinal.
