QLD:Qld dams prepare for releases

Heavy rains across southern Queensland may force Seqwater to open the floodgates at
several dams, as the state braces for torrential rains.

A severe weather warning remains in place for coastal towns in the state's south today,
with heavy rain, damaging winds and dangerous surf conditions set to continue.
