NSW: Alleged break-and-enter bungle reveals wanted man

A man wanted for questioning over an attempted murder has been arrested after an alleged
bungled armed break-and-enter in inner-Sydney.

Police say the 35-year-old man had four warrants for his arrest in relation to attempted
murder, a traffic offence and apprehended violence matters.

Police say he's been charged with break-and-enter and using an unlicensed weapon after
he was allegedly disturbed inside a block of units in Wattle Crescent, Pyrmont, about
8.50am (AEDT) yesterday.

Police say a building manager confronted the man and a struggle ensued between the
two on the street when the 35-year-old allegedly produced a gun.

She says nearby construction workers helped the building manager and the man was disarmed
and restrained until police arrived.

He will appear in Central Local Court today.
